Packing Declaration Changes

The team of brokers at Asean Cargo would like to inform all partners of the change to Packing Declarations in Australia.

The Department of agriculture and Water Resources (DAWR) has ruled that bamboo packaging will no longer be considered an unacceptable form of packaging. As such, revised consignment specific and annual packing declarations will be implemented on the 20^th of November.

For clients affected on their inbound shipments, Brokers will issue new packing declaration templates once completed.

Lucky for all, the current format will still be accepted up until the 30^th of June 2018 to allow everyone a grace period.
